Itinerary

Upon arrival take public transportation or Taxi/Uber to Jersey City. Visit the Thomas Edison Laboratory and Museum or go for a tax-free shopping  spree at the mall American Dream.

Start your day with a bagel in one of the many restaurants in the Gateway Region while you make plans to explore Jersey City, Newark, Hoboken,  Montclair, or Weehawken. Take the ferry to Liberty  Island and Ellis Island

Explore Paterson Great Falls on your way out of the city towards Morristown. Visit the Morristown National Historic Park with Ford Mansion, Fort Nonsense, and Jockey Hollow. See Washington’s Headquarters, the Morris Museum, and the Macculloch Hall Historical Museum, and take a walk through downtown. Enjoy the local restaurants, cafés, and bars.

Today visit downtown Princeton, go see the Nassau Hall, and walk around campus. Continue to Hamilton and stop at Rats restaurant for lunch and visit Grounds for Sculpture arboretum and sculpture garden. Then make your way towards Philadelphia, if time allows stop and visit the Adventure Aquarium in Camden.

Explore Philadelphia. Visit the Independence National Historical Park with Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Explore the City Hall, take a selfie in front of the LOVE sign, run up the stairs of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and pose next to the Rocky statue. Stroll down Elfreth's Alley and enjoy Rittenhouse Square. Shop tax-free in downtown shops or at Reading Terminal Market. Philadelphia’s exquisite museums, theaters, orchestra, and performing arts groups are a delight for evening entertainment.

Start the morning with breakfast at one of Philadelphia’s local restaurant spots and maybe hop on the Phlash Bus and tour the city once more, before heading towards The Countryside of Philadelphia. Take a break at the King of Prussia Mall for a little shopping exercise. Enjoy the beauty
of Longwood Gardens, dive into the history of Valley Forge National Historic Park and the Brandywine Battlefield Historic Site, relax at the Schuylkill River Trail, and indulge in Asher’s Chocolate or Victory Brewery amongst other fine restaurants and pubs.

Today you are heading towards the capital of the USA: Washington DC. On the little bit over threehour drive you will pass by Baltimore, the largest city in Maryland. Washington DC awaits you with all its Smithsonian Museums, the Capitol, the White House, Monuments, tons of historic places, unique neighborhoods, fine cuisine, and great shopping and entertainment.

Explore all there is to see in Washington, D.C. and Arlington.

Depart in the morning with a breakfast stop in Annapolis, Maryland. If you want to take the ferry, continue towards the Lewes Ferry Terminal in Delaware (make sure you have a reservation) and take the ferry to Cape May, New Jersey.  If you don’t want to take the Lewes Ferry, drive
towards Cape May. Visit Sunset Beach before dark, visit Cape May Lighthouse, and have dinner in one of Cape May's fine restaurants or fresh seafood places.

Enjoy a day at the beach, stroll down Victorian Cape May, and rent a bike or take a trolley tour to learn more about this fascinating beach town. Cape May Winery has delicious wines and a gorgeous garden to relax. The nearby beaches are also a delight. If you want to turn back time drive to
Wildwoods and dive into the Doo Wop Experience and take a ride on the Morey’s Pier.

Take a short drive towards fortune. Atlantic City waits for you. Check out one of the casinos or entertainment venues. Stroll down the longest and oldest boardwalk and enjoy the free beaches of Atlantic City. Take the Ferris Wheel on Steel Pier and enjoy fine dining at Nobu Restaurant or
Hell’s Kitchen or eat some Saltwater Taffy from where it originated.

Enjoy two days at the beach and take a dolphin cruise, visit Lucy the Elephant, and visit nearby Historic Smithsville, enjoy the nature at the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. Taste the Blueberry Champagne at Renault Winery.

Start your day with a walk along the iconic Seaside Heights Boardwalk, savoring breakfast at a beachfront café. Explore thrilling rides and games at Casino Pier. Conclude with a fresh seafood dinner overlooking the ocean.

Depart the shore and stop at Asbury Park. Explore Asbury Park's vibrant art scene. Visit the  famous Stone Pony and stay for lunch at Wonder Bar.

 Today your road trip ends upon returning to Newark Libery International Airport and dropping off your rental car
